This policy explains how to cancel a Clarion subscription and when refunds are available. It sits alongside our Terms of Service.
01What you are buying
Clarion is a digital subscription that gives you access to the studio and its generation features for a billing period, in US dollars. There are no physical goods and no shipping. There are no credits or stored balance — a subscription is access to the service, not a prepaid wallet.
02Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal or by emailing us. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to everything in your plan until then.
03Refunds on renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically. If you are charged for a new period you did not intend to continue, contact us within 14 days of that charge and we will review a refund of that latest period, provided the new period's allowance has not been substantially used.
04Statutory rights (UK/EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital services. Because Clarion is supplied digitally and access begins immediately, by starting to use the service within that period you acknowledge that you may lose the automatic right to cancel once the service has been fully provided. This does not affect refunds we offer voluntarily below, and nothing here removes rights you have by law.
05When we will refund
We will provide a refund where:
- —You were charged in error or charged twice.
- —A technical fault on our side prevented you from using a core feature for a meaningful part of the period and we could not resolve it.
- —A renewal was taken within the last 14 days and the new period is substantially unused.
06When we may not refund
Refunds are generally not available where:
- —You have substantially used the period's allowance.
- —You are unhappy with the wording of an AI draft — drafts are editable and you can recompose; unsatisfactory output alone is not a fault, as outputs are drafts for your review.
- —The request is outside the timeframes above without an eligible reason.
07Not happy with an output?
Before requesting a refund, try recomposing with a different tone, channel or clearer brief — this resolves most issues. Our support team is glad to help you get a better result.
08How to request and how refunds are paid
Email support@commcons.shop with your account email and the charge date. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. The statement descriptor is CLARION.
